Home

Dee and I are back home from our short hospital stay.

She is doing well but in need of sleep. She is currently doing that very thing and I am hoping she can get at least 7 hours through out the night and early morning. (I might have crashed hard for several hours this afternoon.)

Dee is in good spirits as we figure out the post surgery care routine.

Thanks for checking on Dee. Please continue to speak to the Father on her behalf.

In A Room

We made to a room around 5:30pm this afternoon. Dee is currently sleeping and getting some much needed rest.

We are grateful for your prayers, warm wishes, texts and other messages. We have heard from many of our friends and family from the cities we have lived: Atlanta, GA; Pine Bluff, AR and Albany, GA and others we met in those cities who have move to other parts of the world. Thank you.

Dee has seen a few of the messages you have sent but I am sure will catch-up on the rest in the next few days.

Update

The surgerical oncologist has completed his work. We are grateful that initially no cancer was found in her lymph nodes. The doctor feels confident that he got the cancer out with his work. We should hear the final pathology report in a week.

Dee is still in surgery. The plastic surgeon is beginning the reconstruction portion.
